Lucia Ocejo is a London based potter trained in sculpture and originally from Mexico City. Lucia is passionate about incorporating her sculptural background with her ability on the potter’s wheels. She finds the history of ceramics and its unique relationship between people and place incredibly compelling. By taking inspiration from her Mexican cultural identity, she developed the ‘Aortic’ series, exploring her own nomadism as a young Mexican artist working abroad.
