Ellie Mone is a furniture designer based in Newcastle upon Tyne. ‘It’s all about colour for me! I want to add more colour and fun to the world. I design giving colour the attention and respect I think it deserves, with colour and materials always playing an influential part. I often mix materials to create contrast of textures and patterns, and enjoy the unusual outcome of mixing soft and hard materials, especially mixing textiles with furniture.’
