India Copley is a London-based textile designer and maker whose practice explores the boundaries between art and craft. Working primarily with hand-tufting — a weaving process in which yarn is pushed through a canvas backing using a pneumatic gun — she draws with wool in a playful, explorative way, transforming ideas into tactile textile works. Every piece is made by hand using natural materials, with quality central to the process: these are objects made to be seen, felt and kept.
