Collection: Pottery West

Pottery West is the ceramics studio of Catherine and Matt West. Based in Sheffield, UK, they design and make by hand a range of ceramic tableware. Their methods of making are traditional, using the wheel and minimal tools to create beautiful forms; mixing oxides and raw materials to compose the glazes.

The process of making wheel-thrown tableware is relatively slow-paced and repetitive. In these processes they find a sense of space and calm, a feeling of which they hope translates into the finished pieces.
