COSAS Wall hanging has been inspired by the handweaving heritage of Sardinia, where the weaver and designer, Carla Cabiddu, was born. In producing this striking tapestry,  she has translated traditional techniques into contemporary designs.

Detailed Description
COSAS Wall hanging is the work of Carla Cabiddu. Carla is originally from Sardinia, she started her practice as a way of connecting with the island’s weaving heritage. She takes inspiration from the beauty of everyday objects and the Mediterranean way of life. As a result, her designs often go against the geometric nature of weaving. So they embrace organic lines as form of expression and individuality.

Carla Cabiddu
Carla Cabiddu is a weaver and designer based in Shrewsbury. Born in Sardinia, Carla started her practice as a way of connecting with the island’s weaving heritage – translating traditional techniques into contemporary designs. Inspired by the beauty of everyday objects and the Mediterranean way of life.
