Detailed Description
The cyanotype is a nineteenth century photographic process originally used to document plant specimens. It uses iron salt solutions which are light sensitive and when exposed to ultraviolet (sun) light causes a chemical reaction which creates a blue dye.
Sally works with the cyanotype process to record the status of plants and the light conditions present when each print was created.
