Detailed Description

Notes from the artist: ‘I collected rocket from my garden which had flowered and grown seedheads and assembled the print after the sun had gone down. The print was left outside overnight and exposed to the sunlight from dawn to mid-day the next day. During the night it rained which produced the mottled affect across the print. This cyanotype is therefore a record of both the status of the plant at that particular time as well as the light and weather conditions present when it was created.’

Sally works with the cyanotype process to record the status of plants and the light conditions present when each print was created.
